We are seeking an Analytical Chemist with experience in chromatography and spectroscopy techniques to join the Advanced Analytical Technology group. The advanced analytical group located in Pyeongtaek supports the Planarization platform within the Electronics division.
ㆍThe role involves analysis and characterization of abrasive materials and formulated products and the successful candidate will assist in new product analysis, method validation, and transfer of operating procedures to Quality Control. They will be responsible for routine and non-routine sample analysis working as part of an integrated team of researchers to support new product development, with most of their time being hands-on laboratory work.
ㆍThe role involves working closely with R&D, production, quality, and commercial teams to ensure rapid delivery of new products to customers in the semiconductor industry. The chemist will use a wide variety of particle sizing and particle measurement instruments in addition to HPLC, IC, GC, GCMS, titration, UV/Vis, and NIR. A broad understanding of various analytical techniques is preferred.

Who You Are:
ㆍabove Master’s degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
ㆍStrong technical understanding of fundamental analytical chemistry.
ㆍHands-on skills in HPLC, IC, GC, GCMS, titration, UV/Vis, and NIR.
ㆍTheoretical and operational understanding of analytical techniques.
ㆍStrong fundamentals and practical experience in the use of statistics
ㆍHands-on experience in analytical instrumentation.
ㆍKnowledge of a wide breadth of analytical tools and their relevant applicability.
ㆍStrong fundamentals and practical experience in the use of statistics to develop data reliability information.
ㆍExcellent interpersonal skills that support a diverse team environment
ㆍStrong verbal and written communications skills (Both in Korean and English)
ㆍMust demonstrate creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
