Basic Function

: Provides advanced technical assistance and training to customers, sales representatives, and
application engineers both in the factory and at field locations. Support quotations and
order and projects documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

: Provide quotation and/or order entry support to sales/customers
- Assist in product selection, sizing, configuration and pricing of Brooks products to fit the
- customer’s application.
- Support the quote and order placement process to ensure timely and accurate information is
- provided to the customer and/or order entry.
: Co-ordinate and follow through on project activities and documentation.
- Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives and/or special projects
: Maintain a high level of technical product knowledge for state of the art electronic products
offered by Brooks Instrument.
- Provide technical expertise at customer site when necessary.
: Develop and present technical training material for all Brooks Instrument products to customers and sales representatives.
- Keep current with technological and competitive developments.
: Support Brooks Instrument training programs.
- Provide training to customers and sales representatives at the factory and/or by traveling to field
- locations.
: Use judgment in making adaptations or modifications.
- Assist customers and Sales Representatives with special application requirements not covered by
- the Brooks standard product offering using the defined process to assess technical and
- commercial viability.
: Regular attendance and the ability to get along with others in a team environment.
: The ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
: Support company continual improvement initiatives.
: Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

: BS engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation/Mechanical) preferred
: Experience of a minimum of three (3) years in engineering, EPC, chemical/petrochemical
engineering, vacuum coating, solar industries, preferably working in an industrial products
environment industry and/or instrumentation markets.
: Equivalent related experience working in an industrial products environment or otherwise, as
determined by management’s sole discretion, may be considered.
: PC knowledge to include proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications. Auto-Cad,
PDF Writer.
: Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
: Good command of English (written and speaking)
: Familiar with flow instrumentation industry is an advantage
: Customer service experience will be an advantage.
