[Responsibilities]
1) Demonstrating superior knowledge of the market, competitor portfolios and customers
2) Developing strong relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons and hospital staff
3) The ability to deliver training and support to customers, ensuring they are conversant with the use of DePuy Synthes products
4) Developing key customer call strategies to identify and pursue sales leads and opportunities to meet sales and organizational objectives.
5) Demonstration of a genuine passion for the medical device industry
6) Building collaborative relationships across the wider J&J Medical and DePuy Synthes teams
 
Key to your success will be your confidence in your ability to work effectively in the operating theatre, imparting information of a highly technical nature. You will relish working in an autonomous, dynamic and changing environment and taking an innovative approach to driving sales forward.

[Requirements]
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, dynamic and driven individual who is passionate about making a difference for the customers we serve and the patients we help. As part of an extremely experienced team you will bring:
- A track record of sales success within a hospital environment, ideally in medical devices
- Demonstrated ability in identifying customer pain points, expectations and implicit needs, and proactively seeking solutions.
- The ability to develop relationships and have commercial conversations with a diverse range of customers.
- Ability to tailor communication to the customer’s needs to effectively collaborate, impact and influence; including having strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Achievement-orientated with solid business acumen
- The ability to take on board and impart effectively, clinical and technical information
- The confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment
- high ethical standards (credo aligned) combined with great attention to detail; and
a willingness to challenge the status quo to seek improvement
- An inquisitive nature with an interest to continuously learn and grow
- A qualification in a business, health or science related degree is advantageous
